WEBVTT

00:00.000 --> 00:07.000
I'd like to share what I like
to call volunteer tomatoes

00:07.000 --> 00:16.000
Walking through my flower garden and coming up upon the
house. You know, our vegetable garden is way, way behind us

00:16.000 --> 00:28.000
But, here's our back door to our house. We occasionally just
drop some leftover tomatoes out on either side of the patio

00:28.000 --> 00:38.000
There's our golden retriever right there. His name is Brio. But, you'll
notice we have bushes here all along the back side of our sunroom

00:39.000 --> 00:53.000
And, my husband accidentally dropped leftover
tomatoes down here at the side of the house one day

00:53.000 --> 01:03.000
Must have been last year. And, as you can see,
we have an amazing volunteer tomato plant

01:03.000 --> 01:15.000
That has grown, oh I'd say, about eight feet wide
and eight feet tall along this side of the house

01:15.000 --> 01:34.000
Now, I am recording this video on October 12th. And so, we're in South Carolina, but
our tomato crop has typically all done by the end of August, beginning of September

01:34.000 --> 01:43.000
But, as you can see, here we have wonderful
tomatoes for us to enjoy here in the fall

01:43.000 --> 01:51.000
You can even, yeah, you can see here we've got some
wonderful cherry tomatoes and boy are they sweet

01:51.000 --> 01:59.000
So, if you find yourself a volunteer tomato
plant, don't hesitate to let it grow
